Q1-5 What are non-consumables? Do they have to be registered?

 

1.    "Non-consumables": Refer to items that are of sturdy, durable construction and have a value of less than $10,000. Examples include printers, monitors, tables, chairs, and cabinets.

2.   According to the University's "Property Management Guidelines", non-consumables with a unit price of over NT$3,000 but under $10,000 shall be registered by the University's Property Management Division and placed in the safekeeping of their respective custodians. Non-consumables with a value less than $3,000 should be placed in the safekeeping of the unit and custodian.
